Finally, Part III

Okay- so the end of February my friend Sarah came back to Australia for a visit with her friend Kaitlin and we climbed the Harbour Bridge which was really good and not quite as scary as I thought it might be. Don't you just love the outfits?? Just as a directional, the Opera House and city are on the right side of this photo. Behind my outstretched hand is Cremorne Point where Owen's parents live and Owen and I live a bit above and towards or past the left side of the photo.

Over Easter holiday weekend Owen and I went up to the Blue Mountains with Giles and Caite to see them at a rock climbing festival, hence me buying a pair of climbing shoes and now Owen and I go about once a week (indoors of course as I'm too scared to do the outdoorsy stuff!!).
Josie and her housemates had a fabulous St. Patrick's Day party. Here we are, sadly the good picture doesn't show all of the green decorations everywhere.
Owen's cousin David had a fancy dress 21st Birthday Bash. This is a picture of Owen and I with his cousin Carin and her boyfriend Brad.

Part II

So I should have done this backwards so it will fully be in chronological order but this will just have to do. Will start with a few pictures from our trip to the States last xmas. Our trip included visits to St. Louis, Oklahoma, Dallas, San Antonio, Chicago and of course the lovely LAX airport.
This is my mom and I ice skating in Oklahoma City. It was a really nice night out and lots of fun especially as there was only one fall between the three of us!
While in San Antonio Owen and I went to the Buckaneers Saloon and Museum (something like that). They pretty much have every animal you can think of taxidermied and a wild west museum area as well as the saloon area.
Off to Chicago, here is a picture of Liane and I from New Years, which it was absolutely freezing that night and I realized how I really was thankful that it was unseasonably warm during our visit.
This is Owen and I outside of the first Bure we stayed in. It had a beautiful view of the ocean which was to our left.
These are two Aussie girls, Michelle and Tanya, who were on the same tour as us so we hung out on all of the islands.
This final picture is the view from the summit of Kuata. We went on an early morning hike and it took us about 30 min. to get to this point. Beautiful though and nice to be doing some exercise after a month of holiday!!!

Well Here Goes...

Ha ha... am attempting to start a blog after some requests for me to do so. And I've just cleared out what I had, good start hey? Well seeing as how we haven't taken any pictures in ages I'll do a little backlog of what's been going on. We'll start off in Port Douglas snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef.

Later that Fall Owen and I made a trip to the Blue Mountains with an English friend from camp while she was visiting Sydney. The Blue Mountains are so nice and it's only an 1.5hr drive.

One beautiful day last winter we went on a walk from the Spit to Manly, which is Middle Harbour walking North. Can't remember exactly where we were at this point but I think we are looking at North Head.

Come November we celebrated my birthday as well as Tim's birthday at the Lowenbrau, a wonderful Belgium pub that serves litre sized beers!!! Trouble...... This is a picture of my uni friend Josie and I.

Owen and I also went to Taronga Zoo for my birthday and this koala looks about how we were all feeling after the night at the Lowenbrau.
Ok will continue on with our holiday trip to the US last xmas up until nowish next time!
